Ademco Security Group Launches UltraSenSync as Vision AI Redesigns Security and Facilities Work

Security and facilities work is running into a labour wall. The jobs built around watching screens and walking the same route are the ones younger workers will not take. At the same time, boards are asking those businesses for immediate efficiency gain from technology.

Ademco Security Group today launched UltraSenSync, an in-house vision AI platform built for that bind. The company is betting that the next decade of security, facilities and business operations will be won by organisations that can see what is happening without parking more people in front of desks.

UltraSenSync is vision AI, not traditional video content analytics. It is built to run on premise. Cloud and hybrid are available if a site wants them.

Ademco is a managed security services firm and system integrator, founded in 1977, with more than 6,000 institutions across Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and India. Applied AI, for Ademco, means the models run on its appliance and work with cameras already on site. What reaches the decision maker is an event of significance, not another piece of information.

Conventional video analytics could tell you a line was crossed. They could not tell you what was going on. UltraSenSync is built for the second job. It reads the scene, puts the important events first, describes them in language, and lets someone search them later. Ademco adapts the models to each site.

The models are not a generic pack dropped onto a floor plan. They come out of problems Ademco has been walking for decades in the industries its customers actually run. The company launched Verifsuite in 2023, launched Robot-as-a-Service in 2017, and in 2020 co-developed an autonomous drone with a European partner under the Enterprise Singapore–EUREKA programme. UltraSenSync is the AI-core product that will have a heavy influence on the rest of Ademco’s products and services.

The appliance sits on site, at the edge, and turns video into events and metadata. Detection is not one label at a time. It is multi-conditional. A person chatting with a colleague on a stair is not the same safety risk as a person distracted by a phone and not using the rail. The system is meant to catch that kind of condition before someone falls, not only after. It can also process vision, audio and IoT sensors together.

The same idea is already in a warehouse product. Intelligent Yard Management, through Dock-Insight, is for a problem every large logistics hub knows: trucks arriving, waiting, assigned, or at the wrong bay.

CORE is the everyday tier: detection, search, recording. IntelliOps adds deeper search, an investigative casebook, semantic tracking and more site intelligence. The library covers more than 20 categories, including intrusion, loitering, abandoned objects, fire and smoke, PPE and helmet violations, fallen persons, vehicle movement, LPR/ANPR, face recognition, crowd dynamics and logistics insights. Other systems connect through UltraSenSync’s DataFlux layer.

Units shipping now run on NVIDIA architecture. Intel and AMD versions are planned for the second quarter of 2027. The current box carries 16 GB to 64 GB of RAM and 4 TB of video storage, expandable to 10 TB.

Before the second quarter of 2027 Ademco plans an Agentic Control Room, built as assistance for operators. That version is meant to train the next one: a more autonomous variant, targeted before the end of 2027, pending testing and safety evaluation. That later system is not for sale today.

“Conventional video analytics are fine for basic needs. What most sites lack is a stack that is context-aware and can be adapted to the vertical,” said Patrick Lim, Group Strategy Director at Ademco Security Group. “That takes a different way of building the technology. We built UltraSenSync for the site, and we train and refine the models in-house. Early deployments at sites we cannot name under NDA are showing 20 to 40 percent direct savings against comparable systems and labour. Avoided errors and waste on those sites are already in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Nobody is lining up for mundane jobs for the next thirty years. That work is going to machines. People stay in the work that needs judgement, human interaction, and purpose. The old operating model assumed there would always be someone willing to do those uninspiring jobs. That assumption has already broken.”

Site assessments run through Ademco offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, India and Vietnam.

Enhancing Maritime Standards: Trans-Asiatic Trading Showcases Safety-First Gerflor Solutions

preview

Trans-Asiatic Trading is putting a spotlight on its Gerflor marine flooring portfolio, reinforcing the case for safety-first interior systems as the baseline expectation for fleet operators, not an optional upgrade. The showcase brings together the full range of IMO-compliant and Wheelmark-approved Streamo products, Karavel, Mariner, and Steamer, alongside Gerflor's studded rubber tiles and skirting accessories, giving operators a complete look at what a fully compliant vessel interior can look like from deck to wall.

The timing reflects where the industry is heading. Regulators and surveyors are placing increasing scrutiny on interior materials, not just structural and mechanical systems, and fleet operators are under growing pressure to demonstrate that every deck, corridor, and passenger area meets fire safety and slip resistance standards. Gerflor's Streamo range was built for exactly this scrutiny, engineered to IMO fire test protocols with slip resistance suited to high-traffic passenger and crew areas, and it carries the Wheelmark certification that surveyors recognise on sight.

What the showcase makes clear is that safety and performance don't have to come at the expense of a well-finished interior. Homogeneous Streamo products hold up to constant traffic in corridors and galleys, while the luxury vinyl plank options bring natural stone and wood-inspired finishes to cabins and passenger lounges, all backed by the same certification. For fleet operators weighing where to invest limited refit budgets, that combination makes Gerflor flooring a difficult product line to overlook: it's simultaneously the safer choice and the better-looking one.

Trans-Asiatic Trading continues to position itself as the region's go-to source for this calibre of marine interior material, drawing on decades of experience supplying shipowners, shipbuilders, and shipyards. Fleet operators looking to bring their vessels up to a safety-first standard are encouraged to reach out to Trans-Asiatic to explore which Gerflor products fit their fleet's needs.

The Consulate General of The Republic of San Marino in the Philippines Puts Solidarity Into Action for Pasay Families

Responding to local neighbors in need, the San Marino Consulate General stepped up to provide essential food relief to ten 10 families navigating severe hardship. The beneficiaries from Barangay 191 – Zone 20, Barangay Electrical, Pasay City have been hit particularly hard, caught between heavy urban flooding and ongoing local construction disruptions.

The Republic of San Marino, known as the world’s oldest constitutional republic, has long grounded its global diplomatic presence in values of peace, solidarity, and civic duty. Putting these principles into practice locally, Jean Henri Lhuillier, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of San Marino to the Philippines and President and CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier, personally led the distribution drive at the Consulate in Makati.

“During challenging times, it is important to be present and extend support where it can make a difference,” Lhuillier shared. “Through this initiative, we hope to provide these families with some much-needed assistance as they navigate the difficulties brought by the situation in their community.”

For the receiving families, the relief was both practical and deeply comforting. “Malaking tulong po ito sa amin," said one grandmother of three as she received her family's food pack. A single mother from the neighborhood agreed, sharing how much emotional weight the gesture lifted off her shoulders: “Nakakagaan po ng loob na may mga taong handang tumulong sa amin."

The consulate selected the recipient families based on immediate need and location, aiming for a neighborly effort that prioritized real human connection alongside essential aid. For the San Marino team, the initiative served as a practical demonstration of solidarity, translating values of generosity into meaningful action for their Philippine host community

MOLD Manila Shares Three-Month Patient Results From XERF Skin Tightening

Before-and-after images taken from May to August 2026 show changes in the patient’s lower-face definition and overall skin appearance following non-surgical XERF radiofrequency treatment.

MOLD Manila has shared a documented patient case highlighting the progressive results of XERF, a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment used for skin tightening and facial contouring.

Clinical before-and-after photographs taken between May and August 2026 document the approximately three-month progression of a male patient treated with XERF. The images show improved definition along the lower face and jawline, firmer-looking skin, and a more structured overall appearance.

The case reflects MOLD Manila’s approach to aesthetic treatments, which focuses on gradual, natural-looking changes rather than dramatic alteration of a patient’s features.

“We’ve been loving the results we’re seeing with XERF, especially among our male clients,” MOLD Manila said. “The goal is for patients to look refreshed and more defined while still looking like themselves.”

Progressive Results Without Surgery

XERF is a non-invasive skin tightening treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to deliver controlled heat into targeted tissue. The treatment is designed to address skin laxity and stimulate processes associated with collagen remodeling, allowing improvements to develop progressively following treatment.

In the documented MOLD Manila case, the patient’s three-month photographs show changes including greater definition around the jawline and lower face, firmer-looking skin, reduced appearance of laxity, and an overall refreshed appearance.

As with any aesthetic procedure, individual responses to XERF can vary, and the results of one patient should not be considered representative of every treatment outcome.

Increased Interest Among Male Patients

MOLD Manila has also observed growing interest in XERF among its male patients seeking non-surgical options for facial definition and skin tightening.

According to the clinic, treatments that require minimal interruption to work and daily activities can be particularly attractive to patients who want to address visible signs of aging without undergoing surgery or injectable procedures.

“Maintaining the skin and facial structure doesn’t always have to mean making a drastic change,” the clinic said. “For the right patient, treatments such as XERF can be incorporated into a longer-term approach to skin and facial aging.”

Patients interested in XERF are advised to undergo a consultation to determine whether the treatment is appropriate for their concerns and to establish an individualized treatment plan.

XERF skin tightening is available at MOLD Manila’s Katipunan and Baesa locations in Quezon City.
