TROOPERS has announced two developments coinciding with the enforcement of Malaysia's Gig Workers Act 2025. First, the launch of TROOPERKS — a platform-funded welfare programme giving gig workers cancellation compensation of up to 50% and private coverage through VSure Tech and HeyDoc International, at no cost to the worker. Second, CEO Joshua Tan Soo Tjan has been appointed as one of 26 inaugural members of the Majlis Penasihat Gig (MPGig), Malaysia's national Gig Advisory Council under the Ministry of Human Resources, effective 1 April 2026.

As Malaysia’s Gig Workers Act 2025 (Akta Pekerja Gig 2025 — Akta 872) enters full enforcement, TROOPERS Innovation Sdn. Bhd. announces two milestones that reflect the platform’s commitment to the welfare and dignity of Malaysia’s flexible workforce.

02  —  Private Protection Coverage

TROOPERKS provides a private welfare layer for workers.
