Contribution of Karaoke Manekineko Malaysia vouchers for all finalist prizes. Karaoke Manekineko (managed by KOSHIDAKA International / KOSHIDAKA Malaysia) was invited to participate as one of the esteemed sponsors for The 23rd Japanese Speech Contest hosted by Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur (JFKL).
Our company strives to promote Japanese culture and contribute to local communities via entertainment. Through our support for this competition, we hope to encourage the many aspiring young talents working hard to master the Japanese Language in Malaysia.
■ Contest Overview and Results
From the nationwide submissions, 14 high school student finalists were selected. The theme for this year was “Hoshi (Star)”. The participants each has to submit a draft of their speech on what the word “Hoshi” means to them, and are free to interpret the theme as they will.
After a rigorous judging process, Ms. Lim Ern Yii from Tsun Jin High School, Kuala Lumpur was named as the first place winner. In Ms. Lim’s speech “Watashi ni Hikari wo kureta Star (The Star who gave me light)”, she eloquently conveyed her profound gratitude to her supportive mother in Japanese, employing deeply moving language and emotionally resonant expressions.
■ Our Contribution
In recognition of the dedication and passion demonstrated by all 14 finalists—who showcased the fruits of their daily efforts—we presented each of them with a gift voucher from Karaoke Manekineko, redeemable at all our outlets across Malaysia.
■ Future Prospects
KOSHIDAKA International/KOSHIDAKA Malaysia remain committed to actively supporting the promotion of Japanese language education and cultural exchange initiatives. Through our karaoke service, we aim to foster activities that serve as a meaningful bridge between Malaysia and Japan.
Improve piping integrity in operations with PetroSync API 570 Training. Build inspection skills, reduce risk, and advance your engineering career confidently.
Many engineers in oil and gas have faced this moment: you’re doing your job, handling inspections, but when it comes to making a decision, there’s still hesitation. The data is there, but the confidence is not.
This is where growth starts to slow down. Not because you lack experience, but because making the right call under pressure is still a challenge.
When Piping Integrity Issues Start Impacting Operational Reliability
In real operations, piping problems rarely start big. They begin as small leaks or corrosion, but when missed, they can quickly escalate and disrupt reliability.
The real challenge is not just identifying issues, but making the right decision before they turn into bigger problems.
1. Small Leaks and Corrosion Can Escalate into Major Operational Failures
Small leaks and corrosion can develop over weeks without immediate signs. If ignored, they may lead to failures causing 24–48 hours of downtime and impacting overall operational reliability.
2. Engineers Hesitate When Evaluating Piping Conditions in the Field
Many engineers spend 20–30% more time validating inspection data due to uncertainty. Without a clear approach, decisions become slower and less confident during critical field situations.
3. Inconsistent Inspection Approaches Create Conflicting Decisions Across Teams
Different teams often produce 2–3 different conclusions for the same piping condition. This inconsistency delays action and creates confusion when quick and accurate decisions are required.
4. Delayed Inspection Actions Increase Risk to Safety and Operations
Delays in inspection or repair decisions can increase risk significantly. What starts as a manageable issue may develop into safety concerns that impact both equipment performance and team safety.
At this stage, many engineers start to feel stuck. The more they review the data, the more uncertain the decision becomes, especially when time pressure continues to increase.
But the real problem is not the system—it is the lack of a clear and practical way to evaluate and act on piping conditions.
How Engineers Can Improve Piping Inspection Accuracy and Decision-Making
Improving inspection outcomes requires more than experience—it requires the ability to make the right call under pressure using a clear and structured approach.
When engineers follow a consistent method, decisions become faster, more accurate, and easier to justify in real operational situations.
1. Understand Real Piping Conditions Beyond Theoretical Knowledge
Engineers who focus on real piping scenarios can significantly improve how they interpret conditions. This approach helps connect theory with field reality and improves overall inspection accuracy.
2. Build Practical Inspection Skills through API 570 Training
Through API 570 Training, engineers follow a structured learning path over 40–60 hours. This helps them apply inspection concepts directly and improve consistency in real working conditions.
3. Make Clear Decisions Between Continue Operation and Required Repair Actions
With a structured framework, engineers can reduce decision time by up to 30%. This allows them to act faster and more confidently without relying on assumptions.
4. Apply Consistent Inspection Standards Based on API 570
Applying API 570 standards helps reduce conflicting inspection results across teams. Engineers can align decisions more effectively and improve reliability in evaluating piping conditions.
When inspection decisions become structured and consistent, the work is no longer reactive. It becomes controlled, predictable, and more reliable.
This is where the right training starts to accelerate both performance and career development.
At some point, engineers realize that improving inspection skills is not optional—it is what defines their value in the field.
PetroSync focuses on delivering training that is practical, relevant, and directly applicable to real operational challenges.
1. Training Built Around Real Piping Cases from Field Experience
The training is designed using real piping cases encountered in daily operations. This helps engineers understand actual challenges and prepares them for similar situations in their work.
2. Structured Learning That Improves Daily Inspection Decision-Making
Each session is built to improve how engineers think and decide. The structured approach makes it easier to apply knowledge directly in inspection and maintenance activities.
3. Delivered by PetroSync to Support Certification and Long-Term Career Growth
PetroSync provides guided preparation that helps engineers stay consistent and focused. This support improves readiness for certification and opens opportunities for long-term career advancement.
In the end, piping inspection is not just about identifying problems—it’s about making the right decision at the right time. That confidence is what separates a capable engineer from a trusted one.
In an industry where reliability and safety define performance, engineers who move forward are the ones who take control. If your decisions still feel uncertain, your growth will follow the same pattern.
Now is the time to strengthen your skills and move forward with PetroSync.
For years, the entrepreneurial narrative in the Philippines focused on the hurdles of starting up. However, a new challenge has emerged for 2026: the "growth ceiling". To address this, The Nth Power Business Summit will convene on April 25, 2026, at the Philippine Trade Training Center, specifically designed to help founders transition from survival to sustainable scaling.
The event is co-presented by Digital Workforce PH, Mommy Negosyo, and Business Pinoy, bringing together ecosystems that support Filipino founders in building future-ready businesses. This strategic shift toward structured growth is supported and amplified by it's official PR partner Immensity Group Marketing Agency (IGMA), ensuring the message of system-led scaling reaches the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.
"Businesses today are no longer struggling to start; they are struggling to grow sustainably," says MK Bertulfo, Summit Curator. "Scaling is no longer about working harder. It’s about building a business that can grow beyond the founder".
Strategic Roadmap for Expansion
Unlike traditional seminars, the summit is curated for established operators who need direction to reach the next level. The headlining keynote sessions feature:
• Francis Kong: Discussing leadership and character as the foundations for sustainable success.
• Real Talk Darbs (Darbie Kim Estrebilla): Focusing on building authority through content that translates into measurable business outcomes.
• Mommy Negosyo (Myrna Tam Natividad): Addressing the transition from operator to architect through systems and leadership.
• Faith Natividad: Exploring digital workforce strategies for scaling in a global, remote-first environment.
Complementing the keynotes are resource speakers tackling specific operational bottlenecks: Bonifacio De Jesus on cash flow realities , Jozelle Tech on Personal branding , Ann Kristine Peñaredondo on Paid media strategy , and Jenny Galang on Accounting systems.
