Ortigas Connect Eyes Role as Growth Ecosystem for Metro Manila Entrepreneurs

Ortigas Connect: ELEVAT10N, hosted by BNI Abundance – Ortigas Chapter, gathers Metro Manila founders and executives on October 24, 2025, 6:30 a.m.– 9:30 a.m. at Edsa Shangri-La Manila to experience the chapter’s trust-based referral system, which has already generated ₱104 million in business this year.

In business, the right connection can change everything. That’s the driving idea behind Ortigas Connect: ELEVAT10N, a business fellowship hosted by BNI Abundance – Ortigas Chapter, happening on October 24, 2025, 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at Edsa Shangri-La Manila.

ELEVAT10N is the latest edition of the chapter’s signature “Ortigas Connect” series—this time designed for CEOs, business owners, executives and startup founders who are ready to scale and want to grow through referrals, trust, and collaboration instead of cold outreach.

At the center of this year’s event is Coach Edwin Soriano, newly inducted Chapter President and Philippine Country Representative of Quality Mind Global. For Coach Edwin, leadership is about serving and raising others.

“I see this as an opportunity to raise the bar—not just for the chapter, but for every entrepreneur who walks into that room,” says Coach Edwin. “I lead my own growth as a person and in my business. With much help from others, I’d love to bring others along this journey. I’d love to be brought along with others' journeys. That’s what Elevat10n is all about: growing together.”

The chapter’s results speak for themselves. From January 2025 to today, BNI Abundance – Ortigas has recorded 12,210 referrals and generated ₱104 million in closed business among its members and referral partners. The event aims to open that success system to a wider circle of entrepreneurs ready to take the next step.

Guests at Ortigas Connect: ELEVAT10N will experience how a structured referral system works in real time. The program also includes learning sessions about the Core Value of Givers Gain®, as well as business strategies on how to grow, expand and elevate. Each participant will also have 45 seconds to introduce their business and the type of clients or partners they’re looking for—essentially a spotlight moment in front of more than 70 potential referral partners. There will also be time for casual conversations over breakfast and coffee.

Who should attend: CEOs and Founders who are scaling, business owners seeking partners or clients, and professionals who feel one good connection away from their next breakthrough. (Freelancers and students are welcome, though the program focuses on growing enterprises.)

Verdanza — The Essence of Electric Elegance.

 Manila, Philippines — October 2025.

Every Xpress Super App Taxi now carries the same signature scent — Verdanza, a fragrance designed to define the future of clean mobility.

More than a scent, Verdanza is a philosophy of motion. Inspired by the Italian word verde (green), it embodies elegance, clarity, and the quiet power of electric travel. Crafted exclusively for Xpress, Verdanza transforms every ride into a sanctuary on wheels — calm, refined, and unmistakably fresh.

Its scent notes unfold in layers: a burst of vibrant citrus and pomelo, a hint of fresh ginger, and a heart of Earl Grey tea — evoking the serenity of nature and the sophistication of modern design.

Verdanza also infuses Xpress’s automated Helmet Sanitizing Machines, ensuring the same signature scent across two-wheel and four-wheel journeys. The result: a cohesive brand experience that signals comfort, cleanliness, and class — hallmarks of the Xpress promise.

With Verdanza, every ride is more than transport — it’s an awakening of the senses. Passengers are invited to discover the difference: the quiet hum of an Xpress vehicle, the whisper of citrus in the air, the subtle assurance of something thoughtfully crafted.

Creat8 Stories Inc., together with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP), and the EduCare Research and Development Foundation, officially launched INITIATE 2025: The Career & Education Congress, a first-of-its-kind national gathering set to take place on October 17–19, 2025 at Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall. INITIATE 2025 aims to bridge education and industry by bringing together students, educators, employers, and government partners to foster collaboration and prepare the Filipino workforce for the evolving world of work. At its core, the Congress underscores the importance of education as a driver of national progress, and highlights how partnerships between the government and private organizations are vital to building a resilient, future-ready workforce. “This Congress is very much aligned with our Philippine Labor and Employment Plan 2023–2028, which focuses on increasing the employability of our workforce, expanding access to employment opportunities, and achieving shared labor market governance,” said Asec. Patrick Patriwirawan Jr., OIC Assistant Secretary of DOLE’s Bureau of Local Employment. “Through this Congress, we provide a platform to empower young people and job seekers as they gain practical insights on employment trends, connect with government programs, and learn about career development support programs.” Representing the private sector, ECOP Director General Jose Roland Moya underscored the critical role of education-industry alignment. “INITIATE is more than just a conference—it’s a forward-looking platform that seeks to build an ecosystem of ideas and a dynamic network of changemakers from government, industry associations, academe, and civil society. The future of work demands a workforce that is agile, adaptable, and equipped not only with technical skills, but also with creativity, critical thinking, and resilience,” he said.

Over the course of three days, attendees can expect:

INITIATE-ED Talks – Inspiring presentations from leaders and innovators on the future of work and education.

INITIATE-ED Circles – Panel discussions addressing skills gaps, workforce readiness, and education-industry alignment.

Networking & Exhibits – Opportunities for schools, companies, and organizations to showcase programs, innovations, and career pathways.

With thousands of expected participants—including senior high and college students, educators, NGOs, business leaders, and industry professionals—INITIATE 2025 seeks to become a national movement that strengthens public-private partnerships to uplift the education and employment landscape in the Philippines.

“At the heart of it all, INITIATE 2025 is about connection, between classrooms and offices, between policies and practice, and between students and their dreams,” said Kayla Cabasal, who leads INITIATE 2025 under Creat8 Stories Inc. “The future is not built by one sector alone, but when we choose to come together. That’s the story of INITIATE, and we’re inviting everyone to be part of it.”

Join the movement. Don’t miss INITIATE – A Career & Education Congress, happening on October 17–19, 2025 at Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall.
